Lifeline Program Helps Those in Need

If you are a low-income customer or family, the Lifeline Program can help. The program offers up to a $9.25 monthly discount on your phone bill if you qualify.

Our customers appreciate that we participate in giving them the option for assistance. We believe that no one should go without phone service just because they can't afford it.

"The program is a lifesaver," says Sasha Pembleton, 8-year customer of Sellwood Voice. "It doesn't sound like much, but when you are like me, and struggling to make ends meet, every little bit counts."

Sasha is a single mother with two young children. She works two jobs to make ends meet, but sometimes that isn't enough. Sellwood Voice is glad to be able to provide access for customers like Sasha to participate in the Lifeline Program so that they don't have to struggle to pay their phone bills.

Several of our customers participate in the program and provides them savings of up to $111 a year.
