2020 Scholarship Award Recipients Named

Marielle Emard

Young woman smiling in a dress with graduation capMarielle Emard was the class valedictorian for the graduating class of 2019 to 2020. She spent 3 years in student government, along with Math Club. She plans on studying as a Political Science major at Cyprus University.

In her spare time, Marielle volunteers with the Beaverton Animal Rescue shelter and enjoys spending time with her 2 cats.

Nicolette Streich

Nicolette spends her free time reading, taking hikes, and going to Taylor Swift concerts.

Hilma Pouros

She enjoys spending time with her 3 younger brothers by playing sports together on the weekends.

Lawrence Turner

Lawrence enjoys baking for his friends and going camping on his summer weekends.

Brice Hansen

He says he really wants to help people who are struggling with acute or chronic pain, and help them to lead better, more comfortable lives.

Brice enjoys playing board games with friends and spends time each week studying Latin.
